The end... again

...And, after following the 41 chapters of my story 'How William Darcy persuaded Lizzy Bennett to love again' aka Friendship of a special kind, you´ve reached the end...

Woohoo!

Darcy and Lizzy are going to be happy all the time. Or they'll die trying!
So much has happened... lots of good times together, phone hacking, surprise visits, fights, loving come backs, hawt moments, work situations...

Wow! A joyride for sure!

Just like these Darcy & Lizzy, I started writing this story very unassumingly and suddenly it was over 190k words. It took me some time to grow back bones to post it, but after the first reviews I got confident enough to keep posting. Fanfiction.net was a major accomplishment for me as I used to rank it for new stories very often.

The small number of comments is a bit frustrating...
...but the ones I got were delightful. It's great to keep up with the emotions the story is creating... Some are very unexpected to me, but all delightful. I did find the whole experience delightful!

Writing, re reading, (editing I hated), betaying, selecting songs, posting, comments&reviews... Lovely!

Guess what? Am ready for more! What can I say?... Writing for me is a 'cachaça', addictive

I have a short story on beta process by my dearest and Micha that I'll hopefully be able to post by late September when I'll be a guest at Darcyholic Diversions (pretty cool, huh?). It's a cute short one about Young Lizzy and Darcy, probably 5 parts.

That's Darcy and Lizzy the caption talks about...
And I have this other big one, but the characters are still refusing to talk to me... You know, the vamp thing.

Anyways, .... Thank you for following How Lizzy fell deeply in love with Darcy. To celebrate its last chapter posted - for the third and last time - I'll be hosting a give away. Yes, ladys and gents, Hot Rio Chick is about to send some Brasilidade to you. Yay!

To let me know you want it, 'like' Hot Rio Chick's fan page on Facebook. I'll list all the names and make an on line raffle. Visit Facebook and cross your fingers! Your keys can be on their way to a happy jingle on a Havaianas green&yellow keychain!

LIKE to win!

If you don't use Facebook, leave a note here saying you want it and I'll inlcude you on the list, ok?

So... Good luck to you all, and see you soon. Now am on my way to some deserved vacations.

Casa Bonita

Hello, hello!

Casa bonita, Casa bonita!

This last week, aside from surfing the thrill of the comments on the last chapter of 'How Will Darcy persuaded Lizzy Bennett' AKA Foask, I´ve been hosting a dear friend in Rio.
'Darling, I´m glad we´re having this other honeymoon in Rio. What if we move here?'
Yes, Mr Darcy! Move here!

His first time here - my friend, not Mr Darcy - an European guy lost in the middle of Rio + 20 UN Environment Forum, my Hungarian friend is enjoying a colorful South American week.
Yummy!

As he loves South Park, I can´t help by comparing our sight seeing to Cartman´s mad run to enjoy all Casa Bonita has to offer. That´s also one of his favorite episodes and not only has he quoted it while we planned our days, he especifically said he wouldn´t do a Cartman here in Rio.

Ah, well my friend, I will!
Sorry, BFF!  ;)

Crazy crowd of (fake) Brazilian Indians - Hare Krishnas - free hugs offers - Greenpeace sun - African activists - political manifestations - bare chested women on the sluts protest - beer drinking and grass smoke cloud: check!

Sugar Loaf: he says it´s gonna be almost the same view as the Christ's (it doesn´t matter how much I say that it won´t) and is declining the visit. He´s actually scared shit of the cable car.

Me and my friend, we´ll still have several Museums (ahem), beaches, tastes and sights to see but one thing I can say: Rio still has lots of work to host tourists... We lack directions in English or any other language, although we are very nice to tourists. We love to see the city crowded and the white, white skinned who go pinkish from our mad sun!

See ya on 2013, 2014 or 2016?

THE HUNGARIAN SPEAKS FOR HIMSELF: Staying in Rio with Moira for me was like a dream...in the first days i couldn't believe it that i'm here. I actually swore that i won't run thru all the things and excitements as Master Eric did...though i totally understand his attitude. Rio is absolutely different from other towns and countries I saw in Europe, and i really loved the places, bars, food and the people. The people who were always kind and helpful - even if they called me a gringo, which was surprising for a guy coming from Eastern Europe and saw Gringos only in the films of Sergio Leone...I also got another nickname here: cachaceiro, meaning a cachaca-addict, someone who loves drinking caipirinha cocktails. The latter name i liked more....:)))

Now it's Moira's turn to visit me in Europe...
Até logo !

Here you go, BFF! Now you´re one of us! :*
Hope you come back really soon, friend!
And damn yeah, I´m going to Europe in the near future!!!

Disclaimer: for once, some of these pics are mine! yay! Mostly, they were found on Google.

Girl´s night out!

Hello!

Ready for a sparkling post? Heeere we go!
Darcy´s glass is half full and Lizzy's half empty... Or is it the other way around?

Frienship of a special kind is palying with jealousy... Yes, Mr Darcy is plain jealous of Lizzy's and Jane's night out! And he only knew Dennie was in as well after they partied the night away!

'What exactly are you planning for this Lady´s night, Darling?'
'Can´t you take a guess, Will?'

You know why he was so crabby? That´s what he thought they had planned:

Ahahahahahaha!

And this is what really was like:

The lovely look on their eyes... *sigh*
And the Princesses themselves (as I see them)
Lizzy is Ana Paula Arósio, Dennie is Julia Petit and Jane is Mariana Ximenes.

Men are so silly to what it concerns several of us together... My hubs is terrified of Girl's night out. I love it. Both his worry and said nights!

What's not to like? I found a great text where Maria from My female forum puts it very wisely: "When you don't think you can hear the call of "Mommy" echoing through the house for another minute; when your spouse is unable to locate his sock, shoe, tie, or shirt despite these articles of clothing being stored in the same dresser for the past upteen years... A night out with just the girls is usually just what every woman needs.  It is the proverbial shot in the arm that we all require especially when those little life events decide not to stay so little." That´s exactly how it is!

Once so anxious to hear 'Mommy?', nowadays I find myself answering 'She´s out!'

A girl´s night out sounds so very appealing when I´m in this state. Luckily I have some wonderful friends who either don´t have babies yet or have them all grown up, and they take me out. Yay!

Let´s get in the mood, Ladies?

How about these outfits?
Jane

Dennie

Lizzy

And - of course - a playlist!

Oh well, you know me... I love a playlist! =D

Plus, drinks to fit each song. You don´t have to drink them all... Just pick one!... Or try them all, what the heck! Let´s party!
Isn´t Drinkify an amazing site? Thanks Stumble upon!

I found a commom ground on Drinkify suggestions for powerful women songs: Vodka!
We love Absolut here in Rio! Mmmm, who doesn´t?

And you know what´s great with vodka? I ´ll tell you: Lemmon, sugar, crushed ice and a Brazilian flag: CAIPIRINHA!
That´s how we, ladies, like it here in Rio: sieved! The flag is complimentary.

Actually, caipiroska since caipirinha takes cachaça instead of vodka. But I have to tell you, it´s absolutely perfect either way!

The classic

Ice cream version... Yummy!

The perfect drink for a perfect Girl´s night out. Try it today!

Caipirinha National Pride... No Prejudice there... =)

Mauro Rasi, a famous writer used to say: "If life gives you a lemmon, mix yourself a caipirinha!"

That said, let´s party!

No need for caption!
