I´m not as much as retelling Pride and Prejudice, it´s more like an inspired on story. And i´m not linear either. That´s why Darcy´s letter, Lizzy breaking contact with him and Mr Gardiner bringing them closer is happening now at Chapter 40 of 41.

One of the movies I ever watched that can perfectly well picture this moment is 'The end of the affair'. I'm a bit ashamed to say that although I loved it, I only watched the 1999 version with Ralph Fiennes and Julianne Moore and haven´t read the book yet - I plan to start soon. Anyway, when they are caught in a bombing and she thinks he is dead, she prays for a miracle. Once he wakes up, she has to give him up because of the bargain with Heavens. I can always remember her despair at having to leave him.

It´s no secret that I love the 'Before sunset', 'Before sunrise' movies. I do love them. And selecting reunions I couldn´t forget this glorious scene... Can´t you feel your heart skip a bit when Jesse sees Celine again after more than 10 years? He´s telling their story as his next book plot and when he sees her, he looses his tracks... Oh, wow...
