Love is in the air... and in New York!

Hello from New York, loved ones!

HRC in NY? When in NY, you already know where to stay!

"Love is in the air, in the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air, in the thunder of the sea
And I don't know if I'm just dreaming, don't know if I feelsane
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when you call out my name"

At this point of 'Friendship of a special kind' finally Lizzy is opening up (no pun intended) and Darcy can´t disguise his intentions anymore. How about that?

"You think you're in love
Like it's a real sure thing
But every time you fall
You get your ass in a sling
You used to be strong
But now it's ooh baby please
'Cause falling in love is so hard on the knees"

Darcy would say that Aerosmith's verses are damn right... Imagine such a proud man having all his expenses paid by a woman? Preposterous!

'Will, you agreed...'
'Ok, Darling.' "How can I resist this smile?"
For me, it´s a bit hard to talk about the story at this point and not let out spoilers, this is such a delicate moment on this fluff sexy story. From now on is low angst until a far far away crucial point. Darcy and Lizzy will discover how to love and be happy for a long while.

I found this cute list of The Top 10 Relationship Words That Aren't Translatable Into English. So cute! Two Portuguese words that are trully wonderful and that Lizzy and Darcy will put to good use.

Cafuné: The act of tenderly running your fingers through someone's hair.

Saudade: The feeling of longing for someone that you love and is lost. Another linguist describes it as a "vague and constant desire forsomething that does not and probably cannot exist." It’s interesting that saudade accommodates in one word the haunting desire for alost love, or for an imaginary, impossible, never-to-be-experienced love. Whether the object has been lost or will never exist, it feels the same to the seeker, and leaves her in the same place: She has a desire with no future. Saudade doesn’t distinguish between a ghost, and a fantasy. Nor do our broken hearts, much of the time.

Read the full article, it´s so cute! And, althought Lizzy and Darcy have already been through  Mamihlapinatapei and several retrouvailles, are living a Yuanfen, recognize their Koi No Yokan, there will be some moments of saying Ya’aburnee and some La Douleur Exquise as well as Ilunga. Well, let´s love and let love roll for now.

Love and New York are almost synonyms in music and movies, so hard not to find in our memories a scene, a verse, a dialog to picture it. I found several and joined it all in a big mosaic of LOVE IN NEW YORK. I invite you to Waldo your favorite reference.

Check if you recognized ALL the scenes.
Love NY made easy: a map!

Right now, several Cariocas are flying to, planning to or dreaming of New York. Myself included! Check this out: Macy's, Brazilian Carnival in NY, FIFA World Cup 2014... See?

We even have a street! The 46th is Little Brasil!

Did my crazy mix inspire you? Is love floating around you too? I hope so!
